Great place for a quick stay, very close to China Town and Light rail stops for easy access around the city. Room was small (private room with bunk beds) but all we needed, beds were clean and comfortable, amenities were very clean and the kitchen area offered great facilities. It is an old building, so condition as expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful, allowed to leave luggage on your check out day while you explore the city before a late flight home which was great, didn't have to lug our bags around with us. Great security within the building and was located in a nice area that felt safe. I would have no hesitation in staying again to explore more of Sydney.

PERFECT LOCATION! just a few meters to the tram/light rail, metro stations and the buses. We were planning to stay here just for a few days but ended up extending 3x! The place can be crowded since theres too many guest staying but that can also mean that this place is the go to place for affordable accommodations. We stayed in a private bedroom with shared bathroom and kitchen. Everything you got is here, across is the Coles supermarket so you can just buy and cook. Below are thai and chinese restaurants and food is easily accessible if you dont want to cook.

Great location with easy train access from Museum station to Circular Quay. Only 10 min walk from Central railway station too. Lots of gas rings & microwaves in kitchen & lots of washing up sinks. Lots of people staying here so staff vigilant about food storage & cleaning. Staff very friendly. Rang prior to arrival to extend stay with no issues. Pretty quiet considering how many visitors here.

Great location, close to the tram stop, Capitol Theatre, not far from Central Station and The Rocks. Nice and clean, and well decorated throughout. Despite the whole area being very busy and the hostel having a lot of guests,, the room I was given was pretty quiet, even with the window open. There where activities for the guests to enjoy together, free hot dog nights, games and such like.

People I met there. A lot of people have stayed for long term so it seems like actual home to me whenever I go back there. I’ve stayed so many hostels before but this was the most welcoming hostel ever. Also because a lot of people help to clean the hostel instead of getting free accommodation, the kitchen and bathroom were always constantly clean. And the side of kitchen was good!
